Plan

The Youth Services staff will contact you and arrange a meeting (possibly by phone for regional areas) to assist you to plan and implement your school's service program. We will also provide you with a list of not-for-profit organisations in your area and inform you of current state-wide programs.

The Youth Services staff are available to visit the school to introduce the students to the concept of volunteering, the types of opportunities available in the community, and their rights and responsibilities during their community involvement. We are also able to inform and prepare other staff and parents to gain their support for your program. (Note: Consultation fees may apply for these services)

Support

We will provide ongoing telephone support to keep your program alive and dynamic. You will also receive a copy of the YVolunteer Voice E-newsletter each month to keep you informed of other schools programs, young volunteer stories, service learning research, grants and new opportunities within the community sector as they become available. Volunteering WA can provide journals and name badge inserts for participating students and certificates to recognise your student's contribution to their community.
