Foundation for Young Australians can help you make your idea happen. Their 'Challenge ya!' grant looks for creative, effective, fun, innovative and inspiring ideas that can be turned into action. Grants of up to $6,000 are made directly to groups of young people

Lotterywest has a number of grants that may be of assistance to organisations.
Mercy Foundation
Mercy Foundation provides funding to schools for environmental projects, but also has major grants for social justice projects.

Millennium Kids has two types of grants available: environmental or citizenship.
Nescafe's Big Break
Helps people with an ambition or dream with a $20,000 prize. There are no categories and winners can be from any field of interest or endeavour. Entries are accepted from both individuals and groups.
Office for Children and Youth
Can help you locate YAC (Youth Advisory Council) where lots of local ideas can come to fruition! Also, the Youth Grants Program may be able to find a project that you're interested in getting off the ground.
STA Travel Trust
Assists individuals and community groups to explore the world and make their big ideas come to life. Only open to those over 18, but start thinking of your ideas early!
Telstra's Kids
If you are a permanent Telstra Group employee you can apply for a grant of up to $1,500 to support a project or activity run by a not-for-profit organisation involving a child, 18 years or under, in your family.
