Help young people
One person can change the world - it could be you!
5 things you can do
1. Ask your school librarian if you can read to little children during their story time.
2. Offer to accompany a new student to his/her classes during the first week back at school.
3. Collect pre-loved toys and donate them to a shelter, toy library or non-profit child care centre.
4. Find a creative way to raise money to donate to your favourite children's or youth charity. Find out what the charity needs and raise money for that specific item.
5. Tutor a student recently arrived from another country to help him/her learn English.
Share your experience
YVolunteer wants to encourage lots of young people to volunteer and help their community. If you are already doing something, tell us about it! We will post your story so that other young people can read it and get inspired.
